RRB NTPC Eligibility Criteria 2023

What is the Age limit of RRB NTPC Recruitment 2023?

The age limit of the candidates who are applying for undergraduate posts must be between 18-30 years of age. The age limit of the candidates who are applying for Graduate posts must be between 18-33 years of age. Below are the post-wise age limit details.

Candidates who are serving Railway Staff, Casual Labour, Group C and Group D with a minimum of 3 years of service UR 40 years
OBC-NCL 43 Years
SC/ST 45 Years
The candidates who are working in Quasi-Administrative offices of Railway organizations like Railway Canteen, Institutes, and Co-operative societies UR 30 Years length of service or 5 years whichever is lower

Widows/Divorced Women/Women who are judicially separated but not remarried UR 35 Years

RRB NTPC Nationality 2023

As per RRB NTPC Official Notification, a candidate who is writing the exam must belong to the following nationalities:

  1. An Indian citizen
  2. A subject of Nepal or Bhutan
  3. A Tibetian who came over India before 1st January 1962 who was intended to settle in India Permanently.
  4. The candidates who are migrated from Pakistan, Srilanka, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia Ethiopia, Vietnam, Burma with the intention of settling in India permanently.

RRB NTPC Educational Qualification 2023

Below are the details of the Post-wise RRB NTPC Educational Qualification Recruitment

Commercial Apprentice Degree in any discipline from the university which is recognized or it is equivalent.
Station Master Degree in any discipline from the university which is recognized or it is equivalent.
Goods Guard Degree in any discipline from the university which is recognized or it is equivalent.
Junior Accounts Assistant cum typist Degree from the university which is recognized, Typing Proficiency in Hindi/English on computer. Candidates must have typing proficiency in English / Hindi
Senior Clerk Cum Typist Degree from university which is recognized, Typing Proficiency in Hindi/English on computer. Candidates must have typing proficiency in English / Hindi
Senior commercial clerk cum Ticket Clerk Degree in any discipline from university which is recognized or its equivalent.
Senior Time Keeper Degree from the university which is recognized, Typing Proficiency in Hindi/English on computer. Candidates must have typing proficiency in English / Hindi

RRB ALP Selection will be done in 4 stages.

  • CBT stage I
  • CBT Stage II
  • CBT Stage III
  • Documents Verification.

The candidates have to appear in all the tests and the successful candidates will be qualified for the next stage

CBT Stage I

For all RRB ALP & Technician vacancies, the test pattern for the first stage Computer Based Test is the same. The first stage computer-based test consists of Reasoning, Mathematics, General Science, and Current Affairs. The total number of questions is 75 and the time allotted is 60 minutes.

CBT Stage II

The Second stage CBT has two steps: Part A and B. Part A has four subjects – Maths, Basic Science and Engineering, General Intelligence and Reasoning, and General Awareness. Part B consists of questions from the relevant trade.

  • In part A, there will be a total of 100 questions to be solved in 90 minutes.
  • In part B, there will be a total of 75 questions to be solved in 60 minutes.
  • Part A will decide the progress of the candidates in the next stage of the selection process, where Part B will be qualifying in nature.

  • In the first two stages of CBT, there will be negative marking.
  • rd of the allotted marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
  • If a candidate qualifies both the CBT I and CBT II stages, he will be called for Computer Based Aptitude Test and Document Verification as applicable.
  • In the third stage, there will be no negative marking.
  • The third stage exam will have questions both in English and Hindi.

RRB ALP Technician Syllabus 2023 for Stage 1 and 2

The Railway Recruitment Board will release the syllabus structure for RRB ALP along with the notice, and it is normally the same year after year. If there is a change in the RRB ALP Syllabus, candidates who are taking the next ALP exam will be notified.
